KL3-SS-Z: Guard Locking RFID Safety Interlock with OSSD – Stainless Steel

The KL3-SS-Z is part of the new Z-Range intelligent series of safety products. They have been designed to incorporate high anti tamper RFID coding and maintain PLe safety rating, even when connected in series (up to 30).

The KL3-SS-Z features IDEM’s anti-tamper tongue technology (cam system) but also incorporating uniquely coded RFID sensor technology all in one device. The mirror polished surface to Ra10 is designed to cope with direct food splash and cleaning found in the tough applications of the Food Processing Industries.

  • Actuation: Unique rotating head to offer both front and end actuation
  • Holding Force: 3000N
  • Coding: 32 million unique codes, high coding to ISO14119
  • Safety Configuration: 2 OSSD Outputs and 2 Auxiliary Outputs (1 for guard state, 1 for lock state)
  • Ingress Protection: IP69K
  • Advanced diagnostic display via on switch LED indication
  • Choice between two actuators: HFZ = Flexible, AZ = Standard
