RFID Non-Contact Safety Interlock Switch (KPF)

The KPF is an RFID machine guard safety switch that uses RFID technology to detect the presence of a guard and ensure safe operation of machinery.

  • Housing/Fixing: Industry Standard, Tongue Switch Body Style
  • Contacts: 2 N/C + 1 N/O
  • Sensing Distance: 8mm ON / 20mm OFF (On Two Faces)
  • Connection: Pre-Wired or M12 8-Pole Quick Connect (Three Cable Entry Positions)
  • Indication: Single LED for Guard and RFID Code Status
  • Switching capability: 0.2A (Requires 24Vdc supply to operate)

NOTE: Designed with an industry standard fixing (52mm wide, 98mm long and 40mm) they are especially advantageous when: Severe guard alignment exists using traditional tongue type versions and long mechanical life is required (no moving or contact parts).
