Hinge Door Safety Interlock Switch (HSM)

IDEM’s HSM Die Cast Hinge Switch with a mirror polished finish has been designed to be mounted for interlock position sensing of hinged moving guards. Once fitted to the hinged axis of the machine guard door, they provide a robust hinge function in addition to interlock position sensing.


  • Housing: Die-Cast, Mirror Finish

  • Ingress Protection: IP67
  • Activation Type: Left- or Right-Hand Versions Available
  • Mounting is achieved by fixing the switch from behind. If you do not have access to the back of the switch, a separate mounting bracket accessory can be purchased for front fixing.
