Z-Range Tongue Interlocks with OSSD Outputs
IDEM’s Z-Range safety tongue interlocks use 2 OSSD outputs to maintain a high level of functional safety, even when connected in series.
They are designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or lift off machine guards and features IDEM’s patented cam system with an anti-tamper mechanism, providing long term reliability even in the most challenging environments. The ingress protection is maintained by a double seal gasket and anti-rust, stainless steel internal screws.
Due to the pulsed OSSD outputs, faults are detected immediately through the use of the auxiliary output. You can connect a maximum of 30 Z-Range tongue interlocks on a single system or, mix a combination of other Z-Range products for up to SIL3/PLe safety.
Available in a high specification polyester, robust die cast and 316 stainless steel housings.
