Tongue Interlock Safety Switches with OSSD (Stainless Steel)
The Z-Range safety tongue interlocks feature 2 OSSD PNP outputs and internal self-monitoring to maintain a high level of functional safety, even when connected in series.
Featuring a reliable an anti-tamper cam system, they are suitable for fitting on the leading edge of sliding, hinged or lift off machine guards.
You can connect a maximum of 30 Z-Range tongue interlocks on a single system or, mix a combination of other Z-Range products for up to SIL3/PLe safety.
For the harsh environments like Food Processing, Pharmaceutical and Petro-Chemical Industries the Stainless Steel 316 range offers protection up to IP69K for use in high pressure chemical cleaning or CIP/SIP applications. The IP69K enclosure protection (maintained by a double seal lid gasket) and can be high pressure hosed with detergent up to +80C and 100psi.

Tongue Interlock Safety Switch with OSSD (KM-SS-Z)
The KM-SS-Z combines internal self-monitoring and OSSD outputs with a robust, slimline body for reliable position interlock detection on medium to heavy duty moving guards. The head can be rotated to give 8 actuator entry positions.
