The Z-Range advanced non-contact machine guard safety switches utilise RFID-coded sensors and OSSD PNP outputs, to provide safe and reliable operation in a wide range of industrial settings. These switches are designed to work with hinged, sliding, or removable guards, making them a versatile solution for machine safety.

The Z-Range switches are classified as Type 4 devices, indicating a high level of safety integrity that is essential in critical applications. In addition, the switches meet high-level coding requirements in accordance with ISO14119, ensuring reliable and secure operation.

The OSSD PNP outputs and internal self-monitoring features of the Z-Range switches enable up to 30 units to be connected in series without any compromise to the safety integrity level, providing an efficient and effective solution for machine safety. This also allows for easy installation and maintenance of multiple switches.

The Z-Range switches come in two coding types: Master and Unique. The Master type allows only one actuator to work at a time and can be re-taught by powering the switch on and off, whereas the Unique type also allows only one actuator to work at a time but cannot be re-taught to another actuator.

The switches are housed in mirror-polished 316 stainless steel enclosures, providing excellent durability and protection against environmental factors such as dust, moisture, and high-pressure cleaning. The switches are tested to IP69K standards, ensuring reliable operation in even the harshest environments.
