Coded Keys for Trapped Key Interlocking

Our coded keys provide over 16,000 different lock combinations, with standard coded keys available from stock. Each key is allocated with a colour, letter and number which is located on the key’s head.

Where a dustcover is present (standard or padlock-able), the keys coding will be displayed on the front surface.

There are three types of keys: standard, ejector and custom.

Standard Key: Normal key function which follows our standard key coding arrangement.

Ejector Key: Spring loaded key which ejects from the lock once turned. This prompts the operator to take the key from the lock once operated. The ejector key follows our standard key coding arrangement.

Custom Key: Custom keys provide a larger surface area on the head for additional text on the label. This is particularly useful when multiple systems are on site and quick identification of key to lock is required.

All keys are manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel suitable for all environmental conditions.
