Box Mount Trapped Key Power Isolation Switch (M-ISB1)

The M-ISB1 is the first stage in the Trapped Key Process and is mounted to a polyester box enclosure. Turning the key switches the POWER OFF, allowing the key to be removed and transferred to the next stage in your Trapped Key System.

The M-TS-CB is a trapped key gate access lock with an internal contact block. Turning the key unlocks the actuator and opens the safety contacts. The M-TSR-CB has a ‘key trapped’ during normal operation and becomes 'free' when the guard is open. The M-TS-CB has a ‘key free’ during normal operation and becomes 'trapped' when the guard is open.

The SS-TS-CB can be used to isolate the control circuitry, and is designed to be mounted externally. Turning the key opens the safety contacts, turning the CONTROL CIRCUIT OFF, allowing the key and tongue to be removed. The SS-TSR-CB does not have a key present during normal operation and requires a key to be transferred to the access lock to gain entry. The SS-TS-CB can be used at the gate as both a guard interlock and control isolation switch.

Trapped Key Exchange System 1 IN / 1-9 OUT (M-KE)

The vertical key exchange system is required when multiple access points are present which need to be accessed at the same time. The M-KE is available with 1 Key IN and up to 9 Keys OUT. The keys used for the access locks are trapped until the control switch / isolation key is inserted. Only when the 1st key is turned and trapped, can you release the access keys (up to 9). The M-KE allows for up to 5 keys to be released non-sequentially. Due to the die-cast metal construction, the M-KE is suitable for use in harsh environments.

The M-HT Trapped Key Interlock is a safety mechanism that operates using a spring-loaded handle lock mechanism. This locking mechanism is activated when the key is removed, securing the hazardous area. Access to the hazardous area is granted by inserting and turning the appropriate key to unlock the handle.
To ensure long-term reliability, there is an anti-tamper cam system built into the M-HT interlock. This feature prevents unauthorized access and provides additional security to the interlock system. The M-HT interlock is an essential component for ensuring the safety of workers in hazardous environments.

Trapped Key Spring Handle Interlock with Single Key and Contact Block (M-HT-CB)

The M-HT-CB is a trapped key gate access lock with an internal contact block for monitoring the status of the switch. Turning the key unlocks the actuator and opens safety contacts, sending a signal to the monitoring circuit. The M-HTR-CB has a ‘key trapped’ during normal operation and becomes 'free' when the guard is open. The M-HT-CB has a ‘key free’ during normal operation and becomes 'trapped' when the guard is open.
