Solenoid Controlled Safety Interlock Switches (Plastic)
Our extensive range of solenoid locking tongue safety switches have been designed to provide robust position and lock detection, keeping guard closed until the hazard has been removed.
Designed to fit to the leading edge of sliding, hinged or removable machine guards, they provide positively operated switching contacts for both the actuator position and solenoid status.
The dual tongue entry point features our highly reliable anti-tamper cam system that cannot be easily defeated. The head can be rotated to provide additional actuation angles (up to 8 on certain models).
Depending on the risk assessment for the application, they can be used independently to provide positively operated contacts to IEC60947-5-1. Additionally, they can be used in combination with any dual channel safety monitoring relays to provide up to PLe Category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061.

Guard Locking Safety Switch up to 1400N (KL1-P)
The KL1-P (LEILOCK) guard locking safety interlock features a compact plastic body and a holding force of up to 1400N to keep small to medium guard doors closed until hazards have been removed.

Note: Available in 2 versions, standard or extra LED. The standard version provides an additional N/C output for ‘lock status’ whereas the ‘extra LED version’ uses this contact for the lock status to be displayed on the switch.

The KLP (SEZYLOCK) guard locking safety interlock features a slimline plastic body and a holding force of up to 2000N to keep small to large guard doors closed until hazards have been removed.
