The MSA safety switch is designed for high functional safety and can be installed as a standalone device without the need for additional safety monitoring equipment. Equipped with two force-guided mechanical contacts, it maintains PLe, CAT4 (ISO13849-1) safety levels even when connected in series. This makes it an ideal solution for guarding doors in hazardous environments.

The MSA incorporates an internal self-monitoring system that checks the operational status of both relays after every safety demand. If one relay fails or becomes inoperative, the switch will immediately lock out for added safety.

Additionally, the MSA offers a feedback circuit check option for use with reset buttons and external contactor feedback checks.

Manufactured from 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish, the MSA is highly resistant to corrosion and suitable for most detergent wash-down applications. The compact housing design allows for easy installation on 40mm frame sections. Its IP69K rating ensures protection against water ingress and high-pressure water jets.
